A new season is upon us once again. So its time for another, Fall 2019 Anime Worth Checking Out Guide. Time sure flies I think it’s moving way to fast like seriously. Everything is coming and going so quickly it feels like there’s no breathing space to enjoy older or newer anime but hey maybe that’s just me. About this upcoming season though, It’s another sequel heavy season like so many. So I think I might do the list a bit differently. I’ll be giving a rundown of all sequels airing this season first and after that give you new and original anime airing this season that is worth watching.

My Hero Academia Season 4

This Fall season of anime starts strong. I don’t think I’d be wrong if I were to say this new season of My Hero is probably the most anticipated anime sequel this season. And with good reason, This new season of My Hero will be adapting a seriously good story arc that will surely get anime-only watchers jumper out of there seat with excitement. It’s going to be a good and a joy to watch. Since the new season starts exactly where the previous season dropped off. (Ultram 100mg) We can’t do a summary of what to come due to spoilers. Just look forward to this new season with a clear mind not knowing anything. It will be worth it believe me.

Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld

Another big one this season. While I may not be a fan of the SAO series. I know a bunch of people is excited about it therefor it’s on the list. While I did watch the first season of this arc. I honestly didn’t enjoy it much. Since I found many of the events that played out in the previous season annoying. But supposedly things get better. I mean that’s all I seem to hear from LN readers. At this point, I don’t even know if I can believe those LN readers. Since they also said this arc is amazing from the start which it wasn’t but hey I may be wrong. Maybe this new arc will truly be the turn around to make me think it’s great. You never know, can’t judge things too early here. So this is something to keep an eye on.

Chihayafuru 3

Here it is people finally, the long wait is over. After a long 6 year wait, we are finally getting Chihayafuru season 3 and it is still animated by MadHouse Studio. And people keep on making meme’s that madhouse doesn’t make sequels. This and many other sequels they have made prove the non-believers wrong. Granted it did take them 6 years to make a sequel to this so barely anyone remembers this great series. But who cares better late then never I say.

But seriously though if you new to anime and you a fan of slice of life or Josei anime in general. You need to make a plan and watch this anime because it’s seriously so good. And also very interesting to watch since the series main focus is around a sport that isn’t well known in the west called karuta. And believe me, it’s really interesting to watch this game in action. You might think it doesn’t sound interesting but believe me, the moment you watch this you’ll understand why it’s so much fun to watch. I really can’t recommend this series enough.

Hi-Score Girl II

Hi-Score Girl just going to say it now, I adore this anime so much. Which is something I honestly wasn’t expecting? So it makes me happy to see it get another season. Now I know many might not know or be a fan of this series. Simple because it’s in 3D and that’s fine. But I seriously think more people need to give these series a try be it anime or manga.

Especially if you someone who loves romance and video games weird combo I know. But the main thing you’ll see in this game are video games, Fighting video games and not just made up fighting games real fighting games from the real world. Old school ones Like Street Fighter 2 and whatnot. The series will somewhat hit your nostalgia buttons if you a fan of old school fighting games and seeing a cast of characters form a bond around these classic fighting games is honestly just wonderful. Seriously I can’t recommend this series enough. Go check out the first season or the manga it’s worth your time.

We Never Learn 2

We Never Learn Season 2, probably the only harem type series on this list I’d recommend if you into the genre. Because the series is surprisingly good to believe it or not. It’s a series I honestly enjoyed watching on the side, and the cast of female characters is nice. The series somewhat follows the same themes as another anime. The Quintessential Quintuplets though honestly the Quintuplets handle the subjects We Never Learn does much better. Still, both nice rom-com Herams and I can’t recommend it enough if you looking for this type of anime. Go check out the first season and then catch up with the second. It’s only 12 episodes so it’s fairly short a quick watch worth your time.

Food Wars! The Fourth Plate

Well, look at what we have here. Food Wars Season 4 and probably the last season I’d assume. This is another one of those series I’m not excited about. Despite loving the first 2 seasons. Why does it hate it now? well can’t get into it for spoiler reasons and I don’t want to ruin another person’s hype for this new season. So those people looking forward to more food wars here it is. The series has a new season airing this new season. I do hope you enjoy the series, well at least more then I did. The coming arc this new season will be covering will be somewhat interesting if adapted correctly. So enjoy that.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods

Seven Deadly Sins I’m not going to hold back with this one. This is a hyped-up anime this is something many people are looking forward to it therefor it’s one the list. But I need to lower your expectations a bit not about the story of the series its self that’s a whole other article of ranting. But I need to address the fact that, This whole season might be one massive trainwreck and the main reason for that is. A-1 pictures will not be adapting this anymore.

Production of the series has moved over to Studio Deen. Which isn’t a good studio. I can say they not good because they ruined much anime I loved in the past. And another note about studio deen taking over is the news that the series is already having productions problems and many parts of the anime’s animation being outsourced to other animations studio’s which is honestly a bad sign already.

On top of that, the same thing is happening to this anime that happen to one punch man season 2. Where there has been no promotion of preview trailers for the new season being revealed. Only 1 and nothing else, while other anime have like 3 to 5 trailers posted for a series before it starts airing. It’s worrisome honestly and kinda sad to think about the series may be becoming a train-wreck because of this. Just know people do not go into this new season with high expectations.

PSYCHO-PASS 3

Psycho-Pass Season 3 another series I use to love but now hate. Boy, there are a lot of those this season. But anyway for the people who are looking forward to this new season. You need to know how this new season is going to be adapted. First of all, this will not be a normal adaption tho it will come out like a normal anime.

It will only have 8 episodes no more no less only 8. Now that might suck for fans but you in luck. Because with fewer episodes comes something even better. Every episode will be close to an hour-long. Yeah, 1 hour-long episode. You getting mini-movie each week for 8 weeks. I don’t know about you but I think that’s a pretty good deal for fewer episodes. Also make sure you watch the 3, Sinners of the System Case movies before watching this new season. Because the anime starts where those movies end apparently.

RADIANT Season 2

Radiant still on the fence about this series in all honesty. It was nothing amazing it was fine I somewhat enjoyed it. But mainly because I tend to enjoy shounen as side watchers. Anyway, I add this here because it’s something I and a few people are curious about.  While it’s just your most basic of shounen anime. I’m curious to see how it develops and I honestly hope it gets better, and the reason I want it to get better is that this isn’t your normal shounen manga. No, this series was base on a french comic and to me, that’s so cool.

Because it’s starting to show how Japanese can now animate stuff that is not just from there region but the comic’s from around the world too, And I honestly want more of that. Yes while these series ain’t that amazing since it’s a basic shounen, I really want it to be a success and since it’s getting a second season now showing it was somewhat popular maybe this series can be the stepping stone for more worldwide comics and manga to get anime because there are a lot of great ones out there deserving of an anime adaption

GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation Season 2

Granblue Fantasy this series seems to be everywhere I look these days. I have never really gotten into the series but I know it’s extremely popular. So I know there are probably a couple of people out there that may not know this series is getting a second season. Making it perfect to add to the list of sequels.

I have to say though everything about this series does seem interesting it never really hooked me. I’m trying to find the thing that will make me start getting into this series. And I feel like the upcoming Grandlue game being made my Arc Systems might be the thing that gets me into these franchises. Since that game looks so good. But anyway this article isn’t about that game it’s about the anime. So to those who did watch the previous season. You have something to look forward to this season.

Now it’s time for those New adaptions and anime original stuff airing this season. There are some nice ones and interesting looking ones to look forward to I must say. Starting with.

BEASTARS

We are starting with a good new adaption here boys and girls. But I fear many people might not know how great this series is due to how it looks judging by its cover you know. I fear people might confuse this anime for furry bait. Which it isn’t it’s a damn good series with a damn nice story worth every second of your time. I got so much good to say about this series since I caught up with the manga recently and it was something I enjoyed so much. This is why I look forward to this and why I hope people check out this series next season. Believe me, it’s worth your time. Also since this is a new adaption I can give you a summary of the story here.

No Guns Life

Looking for a Cyberpunk type anime? Well, this might end up being the series for you. With an interesting world and interesting looking main character. Just from images alone makes you wonder what’s going on here. The setting characters and world all seem so interesting it’s a Seinen that will surely get a lot of people’s attention. I know it got my attention that’s for sure. Also can’t forget to mention this anime will be adapted by Madhouse studio. I’m sure knowing they animating this alone will make a lot of people watch this.

Synopsis

After the war, there are many “Extends” in the city, people whose bodies were modified to make them into dangerous weapons. Inui Juuzou is one of them, and he has no memories of his life and body before his head was transformed into a gun. Strangely enough, his head-gun is designed so that only someone behind him can pull the trigger. Blade of the Immortal

Blade of the Immortal words cannot describe how scared I am about this anime adaption. I need this anime to be good because this is a series I adore. It’s one of my top 5 favorite manga, So I need this anime adaption to be good. But anyway about the series. All you need to know if if you looking for a dark and interesting Samurai story this is the one this is the series you looking for. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how I can express how good this series is without spoiling it’s truly hard for me. There’s so much to say. But honestly, maybe it’s best if I say nothing.

People just need to experience this series first hand once they do they will understand how good it is. This series right here I recommend over everything else on this list. This series is a must-watch….unless the adaption is trash then you can drop it and I’ll just go cry in a corner somewhere. Also should be noted the series did get an anime back in 2008. But we don’t talk about that anime, in fact, just pretend it doesn’t exist.

Babylon

Babylon is an interesting sounding anime. I don’t know much about it but from what I’ve read of it. It seems to be a thriller focused series. Which could be really good or bad, It’s honestly hard to say since anime thrillers while rare nowadays when they do come out tend to not be great at all. It’s like a genre that just can’t succeed in anime nowadays. Which makes me worry about this anime. You should probably go into it with low expectations. Hopefully, it proves me wrong and ends up great because the series does sound interesting. Plus I will always welcome anything thriller related even though most of them suck to me. It’s a genre I want to see more from.

Synopsis

African Office Worker

We good 2 anime this season that has the main cast which consists of just animals how interesting. Though Beastars has a bit more of a serious tone. This anime on the other looks like it will be pure comedy. A silly over the top comedy I hope. Between all the serious anime airing this season. This one will probably end up being the side anime you watch for fun and end up loving. So best keep an eye out for this series when it airs.

Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun

Adapted from the shounen manga with the same name Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun, It is a comedy series that will probably go under the radar but then slowly blind it’s self up to being something many people start to notice. I say that because I’ve read the manga and it’s something that’s honestly really is so much fun. It does a type of comedy rarely seen in anime or manga nowadays and it does it well top it off with an amazing cast of characters you’ll instantly fall in love with.

This series will overall be something great for all people looking for a fun little Shounen Comedy. It is something that has also been pretty popular in Shounen Jump which is where the manga for this series is serialized. Yes, this is a shounen jump manga believe it or not, And it’s good enough to rank somewhat high in Jump. So do look out for this anime give it a shot you won’t regret it.

Though from the looks of it, not many genres variety his season. So there may be not be something for everyone since most of the anime airing is Serious anime with Mature themes and Comedy. Is that a good thing? Well, I don’t know, for me anyway I like this I like more mature-themed anime. But I know that’s, not for everyone.
