Hive is a story depicting the struggle of a normal man battling against all odds to save what he holds dear.

32. Terror Man

Genres: Action, Mystery, Psychological, Sci-Fi

Min Jung Woo is known as a terrorist to most people. In reality, he’s actually saving them with the help of his special ability. His eyes of “Misfortune” allow him to see a path that is about to lead him to an unfortunate event. He uses this power to save people from danger.

The boxer is a classic example of an underdog rising. The sheer power of immense raw talent when handled with precision can bring havoc over the world. Now, who would want to miss that, especially if you’re a fan of Rocky Balboa movies or the Hajime No Ippo series.

30. Catharsis

Genres: Fantasy, Psychological

This manhwa revolves around Leon Mori, one of the most relatable high school students who is bored with his life and school. The only person he interacts with is his middle school tutor, stand in the guardian, and now teacher, Ami. Obviously enough, he has a secret crush on her. Leon has synaesthesia to see sounds in colors, and there is this dream that keeps recurring. The fear creeps into his life, and even the difference between his dreams and reality is blurred. Soon Leon realizes that there might be more to this situation than what is in front of his eyes. He is drawn into the organization Catharsis, which helps ordinary people combat their demons, including their fears and insecurities.

A psychological manhwa with a relatable and realistic protagonist. He is likable because of his sensibility. He doesn’t drive into being heroic. The art style is great and unique. The author supports the tale with fine pacing and does take time to introduce new aspects of character development—an enjoyable read for anyone into horror and psychological genres.

29. Afterschool War Activities

Genres: Action, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural

This manhwa is surprisingly unpopular. The plot is known yet pretty original. It is about how unknown things start coming to earth, and in this apocalypse, high school students have no choice but to fight for others’ safety. The writer Ha Il-Kwon is quite a talented artist, and all his works are likable and utterly unique in genres or plotting. The most prominent part of this manhwa is the character build-up. The story starts with the whole class going into the army with our protagonist Kim Chi-yeol. The characters thus are vivid and individualistic. The MC is also not a badass and all the more powerful or highly intelligent. The story is set on a realistic base, and so are the characters, including the protagonist. The whole plot dwells with loss, fear, relationships, and other such psychological aspects.

The ending was bittersweet and justified. A fairy tale ending wouldn’t have made any sense with this theme. The art style is well recognizable if you know of the author but individually you might find it comparatively simple and messy. In all this is an extremely good manhwa.

tomb raider king

  1. This list is straight up just recency bias.

The Breaker should be #1. All you youngsters don’t know jack. Also Veritas should be on this list, while it lost it’s way towards the end it still blows half these manwhas out of the water.

  6. overgeared is good…juz have patience when u read the 1-400ch i think…so much emphasis on his personal growth that its annoying…but later on the lore is so good, so much future content to look forward to and i think it will last like 2500 chapters at least..

  7. It’s not as popular, but you will be hard pressed to find a better k-drama romance than ‘Please Take Care of Me in This Life as Well’. It’s gold.

  8. Excuse me, but how come no “Legend of the Northern Blade” ? Please justify…

    • Hello, we plan to include it in our new martial arts manhwa list

  9. my best manhwa is solo leveling
    I just love it …..
    and even bastard

  10. whenever i want to read a new manhwa, i always come to this list haha

  11. The Last Human should have been included

  12. Bastard number 1 is not bad, this series is really amazing, Solo leveling too

  13. If you want to Read the best manhwa try This ❤️
Sauce : Boss in school ❤️
    https://mangaxp.com/manga/boss-in-school/

  14. You guys should read terror man, the duchess with an empty soul ,wind breaker ,solo leveling, if you have not read them yet.

  15. How come you didn’t put Red Storm in here

  16. I don’t see “The Beginning After the End” it’s amazing bruh
Check these too: “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint”, “The Max Level Hero has Returned”, “The Descent of the Demonic Master”, “Dungeon Reset”, “Kill the Hero”, “Survival Story of a Sword King in a Fantasy World” and “Second Life Ranker”
Together with “The Beginning After the End”, “Solo Leveling” and “The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor” they’re my favorites, so I highly recommend

    • I read them all actually, and we have other lists for manhwa/webtoon besides this, so that’s why not all of them are here

  17. last time i checked, solo leveling was not number 2

    • We keep updating our content with new additions so rankings can change

      • Then why is it not number 1 yet?

        • I want nothing but Lookism to get serialise this 2021

  18. The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor is the most booring and crumpled story I ever read. This is so bad in so many aspects, especially storytelling, that only very simple mind can enjoy it.

  19. If we’re talking about the top manhwa and I’m not seeing Solo leveling, TOG & GOH in the top 3 of the list, then I wouldn’t believe that the list is correct.
Plus how in the world is the Gamer better than Solo Leveling ?

    • Updated, thanks for the inputs.

    • its called your own opinion ya fuck

      • yeah, like storywise solo leveling is kinda better than most, but not the best out there. I think that people who said that solo leveling is top, are actually the people who just jump on the bandwagon and read a few manhwa, but what can I say, its just my opinion 😛

  20. Yeah Solo leveling is the best manhwa I’ve read so far despite it been short. Pains me to that it’ll take a while for season 2 to be released

    • If you get tired of waiting, you can just read the light novel. its very short only 270 chapters and since you’ve already read season 1 in manga, you can start reading the novel at around chapter 120. trust me it feels just as good reading the novel.

    • Love solo leveling and yet LOOKISM is one of those epics that can’t be ignored. HALE Daniel Park and long live Lookism.

  21. Solo Leveling should be number 1. Both the manhwa and light novel is very good.

    • yeah..true..Solo Leveling is d best..

    • Sololeveling is a typical chinese manhua in the form of a webtoon. There are tons of stories like it.

      • Where eleceed?(this my favourite)
        Sweet home?

        • Yes, they’re both amazing and soooooo good.

        • Eleceed is my fav too lol. love the comedy and character development, but sadly it aint on the list

  22. Really good list. A classics that I forgot over time. The Breaker… I remember those issue releases were highlights of my week or something to look forward after being in the field for like 2-3 weeks. Girls of the Wilds. Another good series that I stumbled onto out of random.

“These are some cu— OH MY GOD! She uh, yeah… she just did that. I guess she is the Queen.”.

  23. Gosu, totally recommend it

  24. Just wanna ask have u read “save me” by 1230 its art style n gerens(psychology n drama) are similar to bastard!!!! It’s really good!!!!! Btw Bastard wins for me it’s better then killing stalking!!!

    • I have not read it yet, is it on Canvas?

      • unOrdinary is too underrated when the excitement of readig it is surreal. I highly recommend you all to read. Really

      • A top contender for this list is the beginning after the end, there is only one season so far but it’s already amazing

  25. “I Am The Sorcerer King” is also really good

    • Yes, we have featured it on our Webtoons similar to solo leveling post
